Bathroom Renovation – Connie & Karsten

We are happy to write you a recommendation for the bathroom renovation you executed in our house.

The job went perfect from the beginning to the end. All your construction workers are well educated and familiar with the special requirements of an occupied residential house. You planned the workflow well without any unnecessary delays or unpleasant surprises.

Your cooperation with the building department was very close; you were able to get the inspections prompt. Therefore, we experienced a steady workflow and did not have any hold-ups.

Advantage contracting pays particular attention to dust prevention. Every day, the work area was cleaned after finishing the work. All your material was stored in the garage. After finishing the job, your workers took away all the waste material, the wrapping and cleaned the garage. The work was done professionally – the tile work is a feast for the eyes! The plumbers, electricians, and painters did a very good job as well.

Overall, you did a very successful bath renovation at our house – and it was a pleasure to work with you. You are always friendly and cooperative and you took care of your job in an appropriate way.

Bathroom Renovation – Brenda and David

Dear Rich,

We’ve lived in 4 different houses and have done all types of construction while living in each. Our experience with contractors has run the gamut from horrendous to excellent, but not even our best can compare with dealing with you and your staff.

You took the time to figure out the best way to configure the bathroom we wanted to install, sent us a professional proposal, informed us of the time you expected the job to take and explained what you believed could be your start date and why it might differ by a few days based on other jobs. You followed up with us keeping us informed as the date got closer, and sure enough, you started the job within the week you estimated.

You told us the job would take about nine days and that, once started, you would stay till the job was completed – which you did. Your crew were pleasant and helpful to work with (even though I kept discovering I wanted more outlets when they thought they had finished). They were neat; keeping the dust to a minimum by sealing the area in plastic and cleaning up every day before they left. We hardly knew they were in the house while they were working.

The finished job is great and we still can’t believe that living through home construction could be so easy and pleasant. It was great working with all of you, and we just wanted to “officially” say thank you and tell you what a nice experience it is to work with true professionals. Use us as a reference any time!!!!

Kitchen Renovation – Mary Ann & Bob

Dear Rich,

In late October, 2024, Bob and I went to visit Rebecca at Advantage. My neighbors had highly recommended your company as their kitchen had been done previously by Advantage.

We met, we explained what we had in mind and she drew up a plan. From that moment on the rest was like magic!

On January 6, 2025, our kitchen renovation began with a complete gut job. Sean and Nick were amazing as they worked quietly and consistently. They are true professionals, and we reaped the benefit of their work ethic. We cannot say enough nice things about them!

It was a pleasure seeing them work and any other tradesman that came in was equally competent. The electricians, the plumber, the floor men, the spacklers all showed up when they were supposed to and did their jobs efficiently.

About 10 weeks after our start date, our new kitchen was more than we had dreamed of. Rebecca helped us with a home visit to select a backsplash tile, the color of paint we should use, and she even gave me a great tip on how to keep stainless steel clean!

We had personal help with every question along the way. We were never meant to feel uncomfortable with our requests or worries.

One of the things that impressed me the most was that I did not know till the end of the job, that Sean needed a knee replacement. He never complained and just showed up every day and worked hard. Nick, such a pleasant and responsible young man, was an asset to the team also. We were also so impressed that the men came back for some minor finishing touches to make the kitchen perfect!

We would highly recommend Advantage to anyone who is looking to have a kitchen renovated. We were pleased from the moment we met you, Rich, at the front door.
